New Year Chocolate Cake With Vanilla Icing Recipe

Chocolate with Vanilla Icing Recipe 

  • 1 cup (170 g)  all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder (dutched/dark)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 pinches salt (optional)
  • 1 cup (220 g) sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup  Unsalted Butter (flavorless)
  • 4 Eggs
  • 1/2 cup Roasted Cashews 
Vanilla Icing 
  • Heavy Whipping Cream - 250 ml
  • Vanilla Extract/Essence - 1 tsp
  • Icing Sugar - 1 Cup
Ganache Icing

  •   Heavy Whipping Cream - 100 ml
  •   Dark Chocolate -  5 pieces
  •   Icing Sugar - 1/2 cup
Preparation of  Vanilla Icing
 Take a Cold whipping cream in a deep bowl whip it with electric hand mixer with slow speed the slowly make it medium speed and then Higher when you do this whipping cream starts getting harder the add vanilla essence and icing sugar and mix it well with mixer. And keep it in freezer and used when your icing.

Preparation of Ganache Icing

   Take Whipping cream and heat it tell starts boiling and add this cream to dark chocolate bars in bowl, add sugar and mix well. Cover and keep it in freezer.
Direction Of Chocolate Cake with Vanilla icing Recipe (Indian Style):- 
  • Preheat oven to 450 C
  • Grease a 9 inch (23 cm) cake tin.
  • Mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt in a Bowl keep it aside
  • Melt Butter add sugar mix well then beat eggs with Electric hand mixer or with hand.
  • Mix everything together until smooth, either by hand or by using an electric mixer at slow speed. If the batter is too runny you may add slightly more flour.
  • Transfer to bake tin (Before baking cake decorate with cashew)and bake at 450 degrees until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean, approximately 35 to 45 minutes.
  • Cool it and serve it yummy Chocolate Cake with Vanilla icing is ready.
