Mamidikaya Pappu /Mango Toor dal 






Ingredients:-
  • Raw Mango grated - 1(medium)
  • Toor Dal - 1cup
  • Water - 4cups
  • Green chilies - 4
  • Red chili powder - 1tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric powder - pinch
  • Coriander leaves - handfull
  • Ginger-Garlic paste - 1tbsp
Seasoning :-
  • Jeera - 1tsp
  • Musturd seeds - 1tsp
  • Dry Red chilies - 2
  • Ghee/oil - 2tsps
Direction Of Mamidikaya Pappu/Mango toor Dal:-
  • Take a pressure cooker , clean toor dal add 4cups of water.
  • Add turmeric powder, salt , green chilies, grated Raw mango .
  • Add red chili powder, coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste.
  • Close pressure cooker kept on a medium flame/heat .
  • After 2-3 whistles remove cooker,when pressure get out .
  • Remove the lid and smash with a smasher.
  • Now season with hot ghee/oil with above ingredients.
  • Yummy Mamaidikaya pappu is ready eat with hot rice.
