Garelu (urad dal vada) Recipe

Navartri Day 4 (1-oct-2011) Avatharam  Kushmanda Durga  Mata

Naivedyam :- Chelu leni Garelu

Ingredients :-

  • Urad  Dal (Menapapu) - 2cups
  • Water - 6cups
  • Salt to Taste
  • Green chilies - 5
  • Oil for deep fry

Directions Of Chelu leni Garelu/Vada:-

  1. Soak Urad Dal Overnight.
  2. Grind dal very tight using less water.
  3. Add salt and Green chili paste.
  4. Mix well 
  5. Heat oil , keep in medium heat .
  6. Take a small amount of vada mix and make it a flat .
  7. Deep fry in oil at medium heat. till it is golden brown.
  8. Remove on a tissue paper .
  9. Naivedyam is ready for serve for Kushmanda Durga Mata .
