Palak Paneer Recipe (Spinach and Cottage cheese Recipe)


  • 1 Medium Onion
  • 100 grams Paneer
  • 500 grams or 2 bunches of Palak(Spinach) 
  • 1tbsp Ginger, Garlic paste 
  • 5-6 tbsp oil 
  • 1 tsp Cumin powder 
  • 4-5 Green chili  paste 
  • 1tsp Turmeric powder 
  • 1tsp dry Methi (Fenugreek)
  • Salt To Taste
  • Garam masala
  • Red chili powder
  • 50 grams Milk Cream
  • chopped coriander leaves

Direction Of  Palak Paneer Recipe (Spinach and Cottage cheese Recipe):-
  1. Clean and wash Palak (spinach) nicely.
  2. Boil the spinach in water and cool it.
  3. Drain the excess water and grind Palak.
  4. Grind Onion to paste
  5. Heat oil in a kadai(Wok). 
  6. Now add onions paste and fry till golden brown.
  7. Add ginger-garlic paste and stir-fry for a minute.
  8. Add Methi and stir-fry for a minute.
  9. Add green chili paste, turmeric powder
  10. Add Spinach (Palak) paste and little water if needed and cook for 4-5 minutes.
  11. Add red chili powder  and salt to taste
  12. Cut Paneer into pieces (Paneer can be fried to golden brown in a separate pan or can be used as it is). 
  13. Add garam masala powder
  14. Add Paneer pieces and Milk Cream to the gravy and cook until done.
  15. Garnish with Milk Cream and chopped Coriander Leaves

Serve with yummy Palak paneer with Roti, Naan, Plain Paratha...
